We make our contribution to this goal through creating and building extraordinary luminaires; cast, machined or metal-worked parts, satisfying our clients' quality requirements and exceeding their service needs. Target Lighting Philippines employs 150 people since its inception in 2020 and seeking to expand in the next coming years. Through responsible and humane business management, we are committed to providing the means for our staff to earn a good living and grow as professionals and human beings.


We recognize that we are citizens of the planet Earth, and so we seek to recycle, re-use materials and reduce our ecological footprint in order to promote a better future for all living things.

From Then and Now

1994

Target International was established by Robert Lee as an engineering support firm for US lighting companies that wanted to buy lighting in China.

1997

Target opened its first manufacturing facility, Target Die Casting, producing die castings and permanent mold castings. It began pouring aluminum in June of that year.

1999

Target established its first assembly facility, Target Assembly, under the same roof as the die casting facility, began the precision machining and assembly of low voltage lighting parts. At the end of 1999, Target had 500 employees, including over 20 mechanical engineers.

2000

Target Assembly and offices were moved to a new location in Zhongcun, Guangzhou. Since 2000, Target has developed assembly capability in commercial outdoor lighting, indoor and outdoor architectural lighting, high-end decorative lighting and low voltage systems.

2005

Xiongyi Precision Metalworking Co., Ltd. was established to house Target's extensive precision machining equipment and knowledge base, and to segregate this specialized skill set from the rest of the business. Meanwhile, Target group had 1500 employees by the end of that year.

2006

Target broke ground on a new factory space to house our growing die casting business. The new company was called Xiongzhi Die Cast Lighting Co., Ltd. It began pouring metal at the new facility in November 2007. Its a vertically-integrated facility of its own, every die cast luminaire are completely built in-house, from casting tool & die through final luminaire assembly and packaging.

2007

Target established a joint venture facility with a European architectural lighting manufacturer, to build lighting products for a company on an independent and exclusive basis.

2008

Target completed the Xiongzhi facility and moved the die casting, machining and tool-making operations, followed by luminaire assembly lines from the Target Assembly facility. Engineering and Customer Service support for die cast products have moved into this same manufacturing space.

2009

Target Zhongcun Assembly was revamped as the high-end decorative lighting assembly group, it specializes in sheet metal fabrication, spinning, and specialty chemical and painted coatings for high-end architectural and commercial lightings.

2012

Target set-up a SMT workshop, built Class 100K clean room with ESD protected floor for SMT (1000 ㎡) and Assembly (1500 ㎡), set up a middle speed auto SMT line, equipped with auto board loader, auto vision printer, high precision SMT shooters, PB-free reflow oven, online inspectors, X-ray, etc., to gain capabilities to serve LED lighting products.

2012

Target acquired Zhongshan Royce, a lighting company specialized in decorative lighting with 20 years history, into the group.

2013

Target improved the painting workshops in all facilities to comply with the higher level of environmental protection regulations from government.

2015

Target set-up a high-speed auto SMT line, to provide better service for increased customer demand, and improved the testing section to a professional testing lab, with dark room, goniophotometer, Integrating sphere, etc.

2016

Lean manufacturing was implemented in all facilities to improve efficiency.

2017

Target built an independent professional painting workshop in specialized industrial park audited by the government.

2019

Target set up another independent factory, specialized to do high end lighting products, with capabilities from precision machining to assembly.

2020

NOW... Target Lighting established a factory in the Philippines located at Clark Freeport Zone. Target Lighting Philippines, an assembly facility with in-house metal working and sheet metal fabrication, chemical and painted coatings, polishings, packaging and delivery initially for the US market. Engineering and Customer Support as well as Die-Casting and Precision Machining are all supported off-site at Target China facilities.
